Once my wife needed help, but unfortunately I can do nothing with TeamViewer. It blocked sessions each 5 minutes. I downloaded Ammyy Admin and solved the issues within several minutes as there was no need even to install it.

I used TeamViewer to test in a classroom setting in order for teachers to collaborate without leaving their rooms. We did a beta test which included 2 different site locations, 6 teachers, 2 parents, 1 desktop running WIN OS, 1 desktop running MAC OS, 1 iPhone, and 1 iPad. Everyone was able to participate in the "meeting". There is even an option to just call in, i.e. only use the audio module to join. In addition, we tested TeamViewer as a remote assistance software. READ INSTRUCTIONS! This was the part you really have to know what you are doing.

Well, TV is OK unless you try to use it for commercial goals. Their business model will kill you with their every 9 month updates. A real money waster!

If you're looking for a free home and business remote desktop program, you may like free AeroAdmin. TV is its simplified clone. No installation. no configuration, no registration. Hope it helps.

Another very fast remote desktop tool ist AnyDesk. I used TeamViewer for many years, and I have been very happy with it. But for business, it's too expensive.

Teamviewer is great but unfortunately if you connect to more than 5-7 different IDs, it may detect it as commercial use and interrupt the session.
If you're facing that problem you may also try Aeroadmin - a free alternative which is good for both home and business use.
